Tony Penning started climbing over 40 years ago and now uses his experience to teach climbing in all its forms. Tony began instructing 20 years ago and holds the Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor Award. He was part of the team that produced The Lower Wye Valley and Symonds Yat rock climbing guides.
Tony is a member of The Association of Mountaineering Instructors which is the representative body for professional Mountaineering Instructors in the UK.
As a Mountain Training approved provider Tony can provide training and assessments for the Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI) and Climbing Wall Instructor (CWI). Additionally he is also authorised to carry out training and assessments for the Climbing Wall Development Instructor (CWDI).
Tony is available for personal and group instruction sessions, whether you are working towards a specific award, or just climbing for pleasure.
