Climbing Wall Award

The Climbing Wall Award (CWA) is still a relatively new award, launched by Mountain Leader Training in 2008. It is the outcome of considerable consultation with voluntary youth organizations, the education sector and the climbing community.

There is an additional module in supervising abseiling from artificial structures.

Single Pitch Award

The Single Pitch Award (SPA) will give you the skills you need to supervise groups of novice climbers in potentially hazardous environments.

The Single Pitch Award (SPA) provides training and assessment on how to organise and supervise safe, effective and enjoyable sessions on single pitch crags both inside and outdoors.

Climbing Courses

As well as being a Mountain Leader Training Board approved provider Tony can offer climbing courses to suit all needs. From your first steps in climbing, indoors or outside through to multipitch trad climbs on mountain crags and seacliffs. Tony can help you become independent and teach you to lead on sport or trad climbs. Tony can also teach you to rescue yourself or your companion should the need arise and to navigate your way through the hills and mountains of Britain.
