Tony Penning started climbing over 40 years ago and now uses his experience to teach climbing in all its forms. Tony began instructing 15 years ago and holds the Mountain Instructor Award. He was part of the team that produced The Lower Wye Valley and Symonds Yat rock climbing guides.

Tony is also a member of The Association of Mountaineering Instructors which is the representative body for professionally qualified Mountaineering Instructors in the UK.

As a Mountain Training Board approved provider Tony can provide training and assessments for the Single Pitch Award (SPA) and Climbing Wall Awards (CWA). Additionally he is also authorised to carry out training and assessments for the Climbing Wall Lead Award (CWLA).

Tony is available for personal and group instruction sessions, whether you are working towards a specific award, or just climbing for pleasure.
